Our mission
Every organisation should be able to understand itself.
We are building the operational layer that turns how an organisation actually works into something visible, measurable and governable. Spine is the first step. Averonis exists to build it.
Why Averonis exists
Systems knew transactions. People knew reality. Nothing connected the two.
We spent years watching organisations invest millions in software while staying blind to how work actually happens. ERP knew transactions. CRM knew customers. Email knew conversations. Documents knew decisions. None of them knew how the work really flowed, and the people who did know carried it in their heads.
We believe organisations need something different: a living operational model of how work actually happens. That is why we built Spine.
The future we believe in
Every organisation will operate through a living model of itself.
Every aircraft has a digital twin. Every factory has one. We believe every organisation will too: a model that understands its processes, systems, people, dependencies, decisions and outcomes as one connected whole.
Just as ERP became the system of record for transactions, operational intelligence will become the system of record for execution. Spine is our first step toward that future.
Leadership
People who think structurally about both technology and the organisations that run on it.
Filipe Carvalho
Leads strategy, partnerships and growth. Filipe's conviction is simple and uncompromising: complex organisations cannot be optimised until they can be seen, and the company that builds that visibility will matter. He makes sure the technology turns into outcomes leaders can defend.
Pedro Balas
Designs and builds the engine behind Spine. Years spent building software platforms and operational systems across heavy industry, government, pharmaceutical and enterprise environments, turning operational complexity into something measurable. Obsessed with the gap between how organisations think they work and how they actually do.
Experience behind Averonis
Before Spine, our team built and shipped serious systems in the environments where operational complexity is highest.
Mold manufacturing, plastic injection and process-heavy production.
Public-sector platforms and digital transformation programs.
Regulated process and compliance environments.
Connecting large system landscapes and grounding AI in operational truth.
What we believe
Complexity is the biggest hidden tax in business
Most of what organisations lose is not stolen or wasted dramatically. It leaks, quietly, in the gaps between systems and teams. We exist to make that leakage visible.
Visibility precedes optimisation
You cannot improve what you cannot see. Before any automation or AI, an organisation needs an honest model of how it actually works.
Software should adapt to organisations, not the reverse
Real operations don't fit the shape of off-the-shelf products. The model should bend to reality, not force reality to bend to the model.
AI without operational truth is noise
Intelligence is only useful when it is grounded in what actually happens. A living operational model is the ground AI needs to stand on.
Decisions should be based on reality, not assumptions
Every step, every cost, every owner, recorded as it happens. Not reconstructed from memory under pressure.
This is the mission. Come see the first step.
You meet the people building Spine, directly. No layers, no account managers. Just a serious conversation about your operation.
